Leesburg Hop, born Dominique Hopkins during the late 80's, in Columbia , South Carolina.
He first introduce himself to the streets of South Carolina as a teenager with a microphone, a beat and a dream at the age of 15. Creating the stage name D-Hop, he would give his neighborhood their fist glimpse of the making of a Phenomenon. D-Hop would incorporate his talents with several other local artists such as Double Trouble, The Get Rich Click, and Red Dot Entertainment, but like with so many other rap groups, these too would also be certain to fail. Through the eyes and the mind of this beat hungry teenager, D-Hop would decide to re-invent himself, almost in comparison to a mechanical machine, since failure to him was not an option, he decided that he needed more, the people of South Cak wanted more, and he definitely wanted to be the one Artist to deliver, and thus, Leesburg Hop emerged.
Known for his captivity performances, this fire breathing dragon, has often been referred to as a Mad Scientist having gone into his lab and birthing a lyrical son of Jeezy and Gucci Mane the Flare combined. Demonstrating that he is not another face in the crowd amongst a sea of Independent and unsigned artists, Leesburg Hop is a multitalented beast, laying his foundation brick by brick, hand to hand promoting and marketing the same way as Jay-Z.
